About the job

The Public Sector Commercial team in Mexico is looking for an experienced (minimum 10 years) Sr Account Executive to manage a named territory that includes federal and local government accounts. Our team is a high performing sales team, that has been growing year over year for the last ten years and we want to continue that trend.

 

As a Sr Account Executive, you will:

  • Sells software solutions and services not to IT areas, but end-user areas (business areas) of current but most to prospective customers, works with other sales/pre-sales/domain/personnel to position and leverage sales opportunities to acquire, grow and retain customers within assigned territory.
  • Should manage the assigned territory in a familiar way (strongly recommended), in this sense you should know deeply the assigned accounts, which means you should know a wide range of target persons, from decision makers to operational levels.
  • In addition to the previous point, you should know the ecosystem of vendors around the each assigned account, in other words, the vendors that already do business with end-users.
  • Should have a proven corporate education to properly manage the internal processes in the SAS structure.
  • Have structured mindset to build complex pricing scenarios for end users and internally for SAS finance areas.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Possess a creative mindset to apply writing skills to create informative documents for end users in a variety of audiences, from decision makers to operational levels.
  • Be accustomed to managing the natural sales pressure that comes with the rhythm of the business.
  • Fully utilize most used sales methodologies that includes territory and account planning processes.
  • Accustomed to exceeding quarterly goals
  • Accustomed to building real pipeline on a weekly basis.
  • Strong leadership skills are required.
  • Strong teamwork experience is required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills are required
  • Equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.
