The Human Resources team is responsible for providing coaching and support that enable the business to effectively deliver their plans in achievement of both business and Human Resources strategies. Human Resources delivers advice and support to managers and employees on all Human Resources related areas including performance management, career planning, leadership development and coaching, talent acquisition, total rewards and compensation and local and global policies and legislation. 

 

As a Human Resources Intern, you might:

  • Assist with HR transactions, including data entry for new hires, status changes, salary adjustments, transfers, and terminations, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information on employees in HRIS, ensuring complete confidentiality, data integrity and data privacy.
  • Support the preparation of HR documents such as contracts, visa letters, and other employment-related paperwork.
  • Work with finance to assist in processing purchase orders (POs) and other financial tasks related to HR operations.
  • Use various reporting tools (including WORKDAY, Excel and other systems) to produce reporting and analytics for HR metrics.
  • Collaborate with HR team members and other departments to research and resolve HR-related inquiries.
  • Participate in assigned HR projects and initiatives, providing administrative and technical support.
  • Acts as department liaison and responds to general inquiries from HR customers, managers and employees and escalating potential issues appropriately.

Required Qualifications

  • You’re a fresh graduate or a master's student. 
  • Targets majors include Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Industrial/Organisational Psychology and related fields. 
  • You enjoy working in a dynamic, international and fast paced environment. 
  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal. English is key.
  • Good organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • You’re curious, passionate, authentic, and accountable. These are our values and influence everything we do.

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Basic knowledge of Labor Law.
  • Passionate about Human Resources and it's future.
  • Ability to work independently and within the team.

Program dates: This internship will run between May 5th and December 31st, with a possibility to extend. This is a full time internship.

Program location: The role is based hybrid at our SAS Dubai office.
