About the job

The Public Sector Sales Team is looking for an energized Account Executive to act on very important growth opportunities for the company!

 

As an Account Executive you will:

  • Knowledge about Public Sector purchase process and public sector Laws.
  • Capacity to work as hunter, create strong relationship and develop new opportunity in government accounts.
  • You will accurately forecast quarterly, and annual revenue numbers for assigned region, dedication to the number and to deadlines.
  • You will coach Customer Advisers sales team to uncover new opportunities, develop net new logos, build champions, present specific use cases, demonstrate the differentiated value of Analytics and SAS products and services
  • Negotiate favorable pricing and terms by selling value and return on investment.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales for Public Sector.
  • Education requirement. IT or Business Administration, MBA or Pos-Graduate in IT is a plus.
  • Ability to grow and scale upward with the company; second line management experience a plus.
  • 5+ years channel enterprise selling experience is required.
  • Relevant software proven experience in any of the following IT systems, analytics, business intelligence, enterprise or infrastructure management, application development and management, security, business applications
  • Track record of consistently meeting/exceeding sales quotas personally and as a sales leader.
  • You will work as a team for the most efficient use and deployment of resources; collaborate with sales engineering, channels/alliances, professional services, product, legal, marketing, and engineering teams to create a magnificent customer experience
  • Equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to communicate in English and/or Spanish
  • Knowledge of SAS products / solutions or analytics market exposure
