About the job
The Engagement Manager is responsible for managing high-level customer engagements and driving services revenue across our organization. This role will lead sales and business development initiatives, focusing on delivering value-driven solutions to clients. The Engagement Manager will cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with clients and internal teams, ensuring service excellence and identifying new opportunities for growth. The role requires strong cross-functional collaboration, executive engagement, and thought leadership to position our company as a trusted partner in various transformation initiatives.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Strategy & Market Engagement
- Develop and execute a compelling Go-To-Market strategy for services across targeted regions and industries.
- Identify opportunities to embed our services into client transformation programs, addressing key business drivers.
- Business Development & Pipeline Generation
- Identify and create consulting and service engagement opportunities with client stakeholders.
- Develop and execute sales campaigns to drive revenue and grow the client base.
- Manage services-related revenue targets, develop a comprehensive opportunity pipeline, conduct risk assessments, and forecast revenue aligned with delivery capacity.
- Partner & Ecosystem Development
- Research, establish, and maintain relationships with regional and industry-specific partners to enhance our service offerings and market presence.
- Build a robust partner ecosystem to expand marketplace reach.
- Client Engagement & Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with client stakeholders, positioning our organization as a strategic partner.
- Allocate approximately 50–60% of time onsite with clients to strengthen relationships and support program success.
- Thought Leadership & Representation
- Develop and communicate a compelling vision of our services to C-level stakeholders, emphasizing value and strategic impact.
- Represent the organization at industry conferences, forums, and executive meetings to reinforce our market positioning.
- Project Oversight & Delivery
- Oversee and ensure the successful delivery of strategic projects, aligning outcomes with client objectives.
- Function as Lead Consultant on high-impact engagements, providing oversight and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Continuous Learning & Market Awareness
- Maintain deep expertise in industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices relevant to our service offerings.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive understanding of strategic sales techniques, account management, and solution delivery within a consulting or professional services environment.
- Proven track record of successfully managing client relationships and driving revenue growth.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Capable of initiating and leading projects collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Proactive, results-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in developing and executing account strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and managing pipelines.
- Typically 7+ years of experience in consulting, professional services, or client management roles.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet client requirements.
