This position supports the sales team in promoting educational services, programs, or products to current/potential clients, which can include enterprise, SMB, Government or schools. The role combines administrative support with hands-on experience in business development, marketing, and client engagement. 

 

As an intern, you are responsible for: 

  • Lead Generation and Outreach: Conduct market research to identify potential leads and sales opportunities. This often involves reaching out to clients, partners or general training market to promote services and explore collaboration opportunities.
  • Sales Support and Administration: Assist the sales and marketing teams with routine administrative duties, such as preparing proposals, sales decks, contracts, and processing orders. This includes maintaining and updating the company's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and internal databases.
  • Client Engagement and Follow-up: Shadow experienced sales representatives to learn best practices and assist with customer inquiries, training needs analysis, and post-sales coordination. This may involve following up with interested parties to ensure strong engagement and conversion.
  • Marketing and Event Support: Assist in planning and executing sales campaigns and marketing activities, which could include coordinating promotional events, school events, or virtual marketing events.
  • Performance Analysis: Create sales reports and analyse data to help identify trends and areas for improvement in sales strategy. 

 

Required Qualifications 

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is often preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with an eye for detail.
  • You’re curious, passionate, authentic, and accountable. These are our values and influence everything we do.

  • A genuine passion for education and learning, and a desire to contribute to an educational environment. 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with CRM platforms or a willingness to learn.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Prior experience in marketing, events, or sales is an advantage but not always required; many roles provide full training.

Interns gain hands-on experience in the business development and operations within the education sector. Mentorship and direct exposure to startup or company strategy are common. The role is ideal for individuals looking to build a strong foundation in sales, B2B communications, and marketing within the education industry.

  • SAS Singapore Office
  • Hybrid (4 days in the office)
