We’ll help you grow professionally, find (or further) your passion, and make memorable connections that last beyond the program!   

 

The Global Academic Program is responsible for building positive brand awareness of SAS and developing data, AI and SAS skills within Higher Education, by cultivating relationships with students. The goal is to build the skilled graduate workforce of the future by encouraging students to develop data and AI knowledge and experience using SAS resources. 

 

As an intern, you might: 

  • Develop relationships with students, student societies and organisations to grow use of SAS Global Academic Program resources to develop data and AI skills
  • Develop and deliver presentations on the SAS Global Academic Program, which help students grow data, AI and SAS skills and help secure a first professional career opportunity.
  • Work as part of a technical team to develop and deliver data hackathons and challenges, which provide students with an opportunity to develop industry ready data, AI and SAS skills.
  • Participating in SAS University Days, to promote the Global Academic Program to students and the value of data, AI and SAS skills is getting career ready.
  • Develop a student ambassador program that allows students to represent SAS and the Global Academic Program on their campus, promoting engagement and awareness of the value of data, AI and SAS through peer-to-peer interaction.
  • Develop and deliver technical webinars which introduce the power of data, AI and SAS technology, helping students learn market ready knowledge and skills.
  • Promote industry certification programs, to encourage students to earn industry aligned and digitally micro-credentialed skills.

 

Required Qualifications 

  • Student or recent graduate, enrolled in, or awarded an accredited program
  • Degree Type: Bachelor’s / Master’s
  • Targeted majors: STEM & Business Schools
  • Additional required skills/qualifications
    • Programming languages (e.g. python, R, Java, C++, SQL)
    • Technical skills (e.g. Microsoft PowerBI, Cloud, Tableau, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, SAS)
    • Remote collaboration tools (Zoom, Slack, Teams, Trello, Notion, Google Workspace)
  • You’re curious, passionate, authentic, and accountable. These are our values and influence everything we do.
  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.Comfortable presenting to an audience
  • You’re interested in the future of Analytics and embrace technology.
