We're looking for a motivated Business Development Intern to join our Channels team. This role offers hands-on experience in lead generation, sales strategies and customer engagement, working closely with Account Executives (sales team) across various industries. You'll support lead generation, execute Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies, and engage key decision-makers. This internship provides valuable exposure to prospecting, cadence development, and lead nurturing, helping you learn how to generate quality leads and contribute to sales outreach strategies.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research to identify potential leads and target accounts across various industries.
  • Build and maintain a database of prospects, ensuring high-quality lead generation and accurate information.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives (AEs) to follow up on existing leads.
  • Work closely with AEs and channel partners to understand target industries, buyer personas and sales objectives.
  • Assist AEs in creating tailored GTM strategies for specific accounts and verticals.
  • Help define and map out key buyer personas within different industries.
  • Develop and implement multi-touch outreach cadences (e.g., cold calling, personalised emails, follow-ups).
  • Promote and invite prospects to attend webinars, conferences and other events to build relationships and increase brand visibility.
  • Assist in tracking event and webinar participation to ensure follow-up and lead nurturing.
  • Provide regular reports on lead generation activities, outreach effectiveness and results.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities.
  • Update and maintain CRM tools (Orion) to track interactions with prospects and ensure data accuracy.
  • Collaborate with channel partners to identify opportunities
  • Attend training sessions or shadow senior sales teams to learn best practices

 

Required Qualifications 

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred).
  • Strong interest in sales, business development and customer engagement.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • You’re curious, passionate, authentic, and accountable. These are our values and influence everything we do. 

  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal. 

     

  • You’re interested in the future of Analytics and embrace technology. 

 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Prior experience in sales, customer service, or lead generation is a plus but not required.
