About the job

The Customer Intelligence team is looking for a Senior Pre-Sales Solutions Architect to assists sales teams with solution sales activities to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction and maximize revenue opportunities. In this role, you will be able to relate technical concepts and business requirements to SAS applications and user needs while you apply strong problem solving skills.

 

Our team is growing in Latin America to provide specialized engagement to our highly valued customers in different industries like Telecom, Utilities, Financial Services, Government and Retail. This is a great opportunity for a proven pre-sales professional to drive our cloud-native MarTech and Personalization Value Propositions in the Latin America market. You’ll be expected to engage with prospects and customers as well in events to showcase the potential of our solutions.

 

 

As a Sr Pre-Sales Solutions Architect you will:

  • Builds trusted relationships with Account Executives and clients to align expectations and highlight business value of SAS solutions.
  • Collaborates strategically with sales teams, contributing domain expertise and solution leadership to support sales objectives.
  • Conducts discovery and proposal development, gathering business requirements and crafting tailored solution recommendations.
  • Delivers impactful demonstrations and presentations, showcasing SAS capabilities, competitive advantages, and business benefits.
  • Supports RFI/RFP responses, emphasizing domain relevance and business value through compelling, well-informed content.
  • Maintains deep product and industry knowledge, participating in training and staying current on SAS offerings and competitive positioning.
  • Engages in cross-functional collaboration, supporting proof of concepts, marketing events, and knowledge sharing with technical teams.
  • Ensure all applicable security policies and processes are followed to support the organization's secure software development goals.

Required qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience of technical sales, solution sales, project management, applications development and/or customer support.
  • Education requirement: Bachelor's degree, preferably in Statistics, Data Science, Business, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Previous experience implementing or supporting sales with any Martech solutions like SAS Customer Intelligence, Salesforce, Adobe, Oracle, Braze, and others.
  • Portuguese native, fluent in English.
  • Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new or special assignments
  • Having broad expertise or unique knowledge, uses skills to contribute to development of company objectives and principles and to achieve goals in creative and effective ways.
  • Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.  

 

Additional competencies, knowledge and skills

  • Demonstrated thought leader in a single domain or industry (publishes articles, leads demand generation activities, and speaks in the business track at conferences/events).
  • Ability to communicate in Spanish
  • Strong facilitation and communications skills.
  • Must have advanced knowledge of Marketing Technology solutions, architecture and resources.
  • Clear understanding of sales strategies and cycles.
  • Good problem solving, organizational, decision-making written, oral and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Travel around 30% or as business requirements dictate at management discretion.
