The Finance team is seeking a Financial Analyst to provide financial planning, reporting, modeling, decision support tools, and insights to Finance Business Partners and Finance leadership, optimizing financial decision-making across the organization. As a Financial Analyst, you will:
- Provides input and conducts analysis to assist the timely, accurate reporting of SAS monthly financial results in accordance with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, company policies, legal regulations, and financial regulatory standards.
- Works with Financial Controllership to support the production, review and analysis of financial reporting, including, income statements, balance sheets, cashflow statements and other reports, for dissemination to internal and external stakeholders.
- Provides long-range financial planning, budget and forecast production services, supporting Finance Business Partners and wider business leadership development of accurate financial plans and projections aligned to the company’s strategy.
- Prepares financial management reporting for all SAS Business Units and Executive Leadership, including, but not limited to, executive reports, dashboards, presentations, and financial metrics performance reporting. Monitors performance against financial plans, targets and business KPIs, conducting variance and other analysis at a business unit and overall company level to deliver insights on trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement to Finance Business Partners for engagement with business leadership.
- Supports Finance Business Partners in conducting deeper root cause analysis to unearth actionable insights and recommendations which will improve business performance, efficiency, predictability, and control.
- Prepares financial models to assist Finance leadership, Finance Business Partners and wider business leadership evaluate scenarios, assess the impact of strategic initiatives, and support financial planning processes.
- Supports regular and ad hoc financial information needs of Finance leadership (including Accounting, Controllership, Business Partners, Internal Audit, Systems, Tax & Treasury), wider business leadership and external stakeholders, including, but not limited to, press releases, communications, prospect, and customer requests for information.
- Ensure all applicable security policies and processes are followed to support the organization’s secure software development goals.

Required qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience, preferably in a large international publicly owned organization in a Business Partnering or Financial Planning & Analysis capacity. Technology industry experience strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree or educational equivalent in accounting or related field required. Master’s degree and/or CPA certification preferred (or internationally, a recognized accountancy qualification).
- Strong knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles – standards, financial reporting and revenue recognition specific to the technology industry.
- Strong financial analysis capability, including scenario modelling, sensitivity analysis and advanced forecasting techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to understand and interpret financial/performance data.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English.
- Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.
