About the job

The Contract Operations team is looking for a Contracts Specialist to ensure accurate financial setup, billing, and revenue recognition for consulting services by reviewing and interpreting customer contract terms, maintaining compliant project and contract records in Oracle Fusion, and issuing invoices in line with contractual and policy requirements.

The role supports financial integrity and compliance by collaborating cross-functionally with consulting, finance, and legal teams, while also preparing and analyzing monthly account reconciliations to ensure accurate project accounting and reporting.

We offer a fixed term 1 year contract with SAS, we will provide you more information during the recruiting process. 

As a Contract Specialist you will:

• Reviews and extracts finance-related terms from consulting customer contracts and records them in Oracle Fusion
• Sets up consulting services projects and contracts within the accounting system
• Issues customer invoices in accordance with contractual terms
• Ensures accurate revenue recognition and project accounting compliance
• Collaborates with consulting services, finance, and legal teams to validate financial clauses in line with SAS Finance Global Policies
• Prepares and analyzes monthly account reconciliation reports
• Ensure all applicable security policies and processes are followed to support the organization's secure software development goals.

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 1-2 years of related contract administration experience.
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business or related field
• Contract analysis and interpretation (finance and revenue clauses) 
• Invoicing and billing management  

• Financial reconciliation experience

• Experience with ERP/accounting systems (Oracle Fusion preferred)

• Strong understanding of accounting standards 

• Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.
