We are seeking a Software Developer (2-8 years of experience) with deep, hands‑on experience building internal AI agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio and Azure Foundry. This role will focus on designing, developing, and scaling enterprise‑grade agentic AI solutions that integrate across the Microsoft ecosystem, including Power Platform, Dataverse, Microsoft 365, Azure AI Foundry, and related services.
This individual will act as a Copilot Studio maker—bridging low‑code and pro‑code development—capable of owning agent design end‑to‑end while collaborating with IT, business stakeholders, and other developers to deliver secure, governed, production‑ready solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain AI agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio, including:
- Declarative and generative topics
- Agent orchestration and multi-step workflows
- Fallback, escalation, and human handoff patterns
- Develop and integrate Microsoft Power Platform solutions, including:
- Power Apps (Canvas and/or Model-Driven)
- Power Automate cloud flows
- Dataverse data models and security
- Integrate Copilot agents with Microsoft 365 and enterprise systems (e.g., Teams, SharePoint, APIs, internal platforms) using connectors, flows, and services.
- Leverage Microsoft Azure AI and Foundry services to enhance agent capabilities and support agentic workflows.
- Apply PowerShell and scripting where appropriate for automation, configuration, and operational tasks.
- Ensure solutions comply with enterprise governance, security, and compliance standards, including environment strategy, permissions, and data access controls.
- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and IT leadership to translate business requirements into scalable agent solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior developers or makers as needed.
- Document solutions thoroughly to support long-term maintainability and knowledge transfer.
Required Experience & Skills
- 2-8 years of professional software development experience, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio (or Power Virtual Agents), building production-ready agents.
- Strong experience with the Microsoft Power Platform, including:
- Power Apps
- Power Automate
- Dataverse
- Practical experience working within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Teams, SharePoint, Microsoft Graph, etc.).
- Working knowledge of PowerShell for automation and scripting.
- Experience integrating systems using APIs, connectors, and workflows.
- Solid understanding of agentic AI concepts, conversational design, and enterprise application lifecycle management.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership of solutions, and operate effectively in a consulting or matrixed team environment.
- Experience with Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, or related Azure AI services.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Familiarity with enterprise governance models for Power Platform and Copilot Studio.
- Experience supporting internal-facing agents (employee productivity, IT, HR, finance, operations).
- Prior experience mentoring junior developers or acting as a technical lead on Power Platform or Copilot initiatives.
- Microsoft certifications related to Power Platform or Azure.
