You will serve as both a strategic architect and hands-on technical leader—guiding architecture decisions, accelerating delivery, and removing technical blockers across multiple concurrent workstreams. You will play a critical role in enabling the rapid, scalable, and secure delivery of high-quality AI agents for internal use.
Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Solution Design
Define end-to-end architecture for agentic AI solutions using the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, including Azure OpenAI Service, Azure AI Foundry, Microsoft Copilot Studio, and the Microsoft Power Platform
Establish scalable patterns for multi-agent systems, orchestration, tool use, and data integration
Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and compliance standards
Workstream Enablement
Partner with 2–3 agile workstreams (each consisting of agent developers) to guide solution delivery
Provide architectural direction during sprint cycles, design sessions, and implementation
Actively unblock teams by troubleshooting complex technical challenges across services and integrations
Hands-On Prototyping
Build reference implementations and prototypes to demonstrate patterns and accelerate delivery
Evaluate and integrate emerging Microsoft AI capabilities into reusable solution patterns
Support developers in stitching together services across APIs, data platforms, and orchestration layers
Standards, Governance & Best Practices
Define and enforce best practices for agent design, prompt engineering, orchestration, observability, and lifecycle management
Ensure solutions meet enterprise requirements for security, data privacy, and Responsible AI
Contribute to reusable frameworks, templates, and internal accelerators
Mentorship & Technical Leadership
Mentor and guide developers within the Agent Factory
Elevate technical capability across teams through coaching, code/design reviews, and knowledge sharing
Foster a culture of rapid experimentation with disciplined engineering practices
Technology Strategy & Innovation
Stay current with advancements in AI/LLMs, agent frameworks, and Microsoft technologies
Assess new tools and capabilities for enterprise adoption
Continuously improve delivery speed, quality, and scalability of the Agent Factory
Required Qualifications
8+ years of experience in solution architecture, software engineering, or related roles
Proven experience designing and delivering solutions on Microsoft Azure
Hands-on experience with AI/LLM-based solutions, including Azure OpenAI Service or similar platforms
Strong understanding of distributed systems, API design, and cloud-native architectures
Experience working in agile delivery models across multiple concurrent teams
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex cross-system integration challenges
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Azure AI Foundry, Microsoft Copilot Studio, and/or Microsoft Power Platform
Familiarity with agentic AI patterns (multi-agent orchestration, tool use, memory, planning)
Experience implementing governance, security, and Responsible AI frameworks in enterprise environments
Background in building internal platforms or “factory” delivery models
Experience mentoring engineers or leading technical teams
Key Competencies
Architectural thinking with the ability to translate strategy into execution
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to unblock teams quickly
Balance of speed and rigor in high-pressure delivery environments
Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders
Continuous learning mindset in a rapidly evolving AI landscape
Success Metrics
Rapid delivery of high-quality, production-ready AI agents
Reduced time-to-market through reusable architecture patterns and accelerators
Effective removal of technical blockers across workstreams
Adoption of standardized, secure, and scalable architectures
Positive feedback and increased velocity from development teams
Why This Role Matters
This role is central to scaling our Agent Factory. You will directly influence how quickly and effectively AI solutions are delivered across the organization—balancing speed, quality, and governance in a high-visibility, high-impact environment.
