We are looking for an Information Systems Engineer to join our Enterprise Client Management team with expansive growth opportunities. The ECM team is responsible for managing all of SAS’ global endpoints (Windows, Mac, and Mobile) supplied to our workforce for productivity. This includes our global provisioning and management services, which deliver productivity software and security configurations to each endpoint. Endpoint management is full life cycle (deployment to retirement) to meet dynamic business and security requirements.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Analyzes, installs, manages, and supports client operating systems.
- Utilizes on-premises and cloud management tools to ensure all global endpoints are properly managed and secure throughout their full life cycle.
- Monitors systems, analyzes reports, and corrects issues on all globally deployed systems (Windows, Mac, iOS/Android).
- Creates and maintains technical and user-facing client endpoint and infrastructure documentation.
- Creates and manages ServiceNow Changes, Requests, and Incidents per ITIL best practices framework.
- Works closely with the Office of Information Security to evaluate endpoint security solutions, advise on client concerns, and enhance overall corporate security posture.
- Provides comprehensive support for all assigned products - installation, customization, documentation, maintenance, and feature utilization.
- Assists with the planning, design, deployment, and troubleshooting of operating systems, systems management software, endpoint security, productivity applications, and other software impacting associates globally.
- Assists with usage planning, forecasting/trending, hardware/software configuration and installation of operating systems, patch management infrastructure, productivity applications, and virtualized environments.
- Assists with researching, evaluating, and providing business justification for vendor selections and new technology purchases.
- Assists with formulating and implementing system configurations for all company infrastructure systems globally.
- Assists with assigned special projects in design, implementation, transition, and operational roles.
- Prepares and conducts system and programming tests for hardware and software interfaces.
- Assists other Information Systems Engineers as needed.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Assists in the training and professional development of global support associates.
- Assists in providing comprehensive support for complex software systems.
- Analyzes the productivity needs of global associates and aids in the proposal, design, and implementation of effective solutions.
- Participates as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on all assigned products and projects.
Required technical skills to be successful:
- You are curious, passionate, authentic, collaborative, and accountable. These are our values and influence everything we do.
- At least five years of experience with Modern Device Management (MDM) configurations, options and tools in a cross-platform, global, enterprise environment.
- At least five years of experience with cross-platform device management tools such as: Azure/Active Directory, System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)/Intune, Autopilot, Group Policy, etc.
- At least five years of experience with Windows, Windows Server, macOS, iOS, and Android platforms.
- At least five years of experience analyzing logs and trouble-shooting cross-platform devices.
- At least five years of experience with PowerShell.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with ServiceNow and ITIL best practices framework.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with client software distribution and maintenance.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with endpoint security strategies such as encryption, conditional access, and device compliance.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Virtual Desk Infrastructure (VDI) environments.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with software packaging and scripting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interfacing with leadership and internal customers.
- Ability to help manage multiple, high-visibility projects, and priorities.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- 8-12 Years of relevant experience
