About the job
The Global Experience team is seeking a AI Enablement Localization Specialist to own and evolve multilingual AI and MT solutions, including terminology governance, multilingual AI enablement, and MT/LLM quality across global products. This role focuses on guiding the multilingual aspects of AI‑enabled solutions, owning translation solutions and workflows, evolving linguistic knowledge assets, and ensuring consistent, high‑quality multilingual output at scale through data‑driven evaluation and continuous improvement. The role acts as a primary owner of the multilingual aspects of AI -enabled solutions, working closely with Product, Documentation Engineering and vendor teams, , e as multilingual AI capabilities are designed, implemented and integrated into products and customer‑facing experiences.
As a AI Enablement Localization Specialist, you will:
Terminology & Knowledge Assets
Create, manage and evolve glossaries, style guides, and other linguistic and cultural assets
Design and own the terminology extraction process for products
Drive a cross-functional effort to maintain central terminology database (Publications team, Marketing, Products)
Govern multilingual term bases as a single source of truth for AI and MT, ensure consistency between glossary and TM translations.
Collaborate with multilingual vendors and in-house teams to optimize workflows, translation memory, and terminology management.
Machine Translation/AI and Model Evaluations
Maintain and prepare glossary assets for MT trainings and LLM RAG
Own MT and LLM engine strategy, including selection, training approach, benchmarking methodology and evaluation
Own the design, selection, and evolution of translation solutions, including MT, LLM‑based translation, and hybrid workflows used across products and translation pipelines
Determine when shared translation solutions can be reused across product and workflow contexts, and when differentiated approaches are required
Measure MT or LLM output quality on a regular basis per locale for 20+ languages. Create and execute improvement plans when scores fall beyond a threshold.
Design and test various localization workflow improvements by using AI (such as APE, LQE and LQA)
Quality Evaluation
Collect feedback from various stakeholders to establish end quality requirements.
Define evaluation frameworks to access both raw MT/AI and post-edited translation quality
Implement evaluation framework and monitor performance per locale
Develop and execute improvement plans when quality standards are not met
Multilingual AI Cross‑functional Enablement
Partner with Product, Docs, and Engineering teams to define and guide the multilingual aspects of AI-enabled features, ensuring language quality, consistency, and scalability requirements are met as solutions are implemented into products and customer‑facing experiences.
Lead Multilingual AI capabilities testing and ensure it adheres to company standards, terminology, and tone of voice. Provide recommendations for model improvements if needed.
Ensure all applicable security policies and processes are followed to support the organization's secure software development goals.
