About the job
We are looking for a Bid Manager to lead and enable winning pursuits across all industry teams with a focus on supporting the Public Sector business.
In this role, you will drive high-quality proposals and bids by aligning cross-functional teams, shaping compelling responses, and ensuring we deliver customer-centric, value-driven solutions that support our strategic goals.
Your responsibilities
You will play a key role across the entire bid lifecycle:
- Lead end-to-end bid and proposal management processes
- Partner with Sales to build and coordinate cross-functional bid teams
- Own the planning, scheduling, and execution of proposal activities
- Act as the central point of contact throughout the bid process
- Ensure all submissions are high-quality, compliant, and delivered on time
- Develop compelling proposals reflecting customer needs and win themes
- Collaborate with Account Executives, Consultants, Legal, and Technical teams
- Manage stakeholder communication, milestones, and reviews
- Identify risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities in responses
- Conduct post-bid evaluations to improve future success rate
Required qualifications
- 4–5+ years of experience in bid management within the technology industry
- Strong understanding of RFP processes, proposal development methodologies, and sales cycles
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong stakeholder management and facilitation capabilities
- Experience working in cross-functional, international environments
- Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.
- Structured, proactive, and detail-oriented approach
- Strong collaboration mindset with the ability to influence stakeholders
- Customer-focused, with a clear understanding of value-based selling
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
- Willingness to travel when required
- Experience in IT, data, analytics, or software solutions environments
- Familiarity with public procurement regulations in Germany
- Ensure all applicable security policies and processes are followed to support the organization's secure software development goals.
